  • September 23rd – Invicta FC 19: Maia Vs Modafferi
    • Jennifer Maia won by  a split decision
    • Ayaka Hamasaki won via doctor stoppage to retain the Atomweight belt
  • September 24th – UFC Fight Night: Cyborg vs Lansberg
    • Of course Cyborg smashed Lina Lansberg
    • Now Ronda’s name is back in the mix
    • Renan Barao won by decision
    • Roy Nelson TKO’d Bigfoot Silva in the second round
    • Then Kicked Big John McCarthy in the ass
    • All that, in an attempt to share his disgust for what he thought was a late stoppage… Just sayin’
    • Roy Nelson might see a fine or suspension in his future
  • October 1st – UFC Fight Night: Dodson vs Lineker
    • Add one big scoop of DECISIONS
    • And a sprinkle of submissions and KOs
    • Nate Marquardt lands a punch that knocks Tamdan McCory loopy, Nate follows up with a high kick
    • The End. Nate wins by KO, Round 2
    • Louis Smolka gets caught in a guillotine while pulling Moreno to the ground
    • That sucks – Moreno wins in Round 1 by guillotine choke
    • Josh Burkman sadly wrapped up his career with a split decision loss to LATE REPLACEMENT Zak Ottow
    • A 5.5 lb weight advantage and a rib injury seemed to help Alex Oliveira win by KO over Will Brooks in Round 3
    • All kinds of disrespect was flying all over the place after this fight
    • AND we had a spilt decision for the main event of the night
    • After hitting snooze for 5 rounds, John Lineker pulls out the win over John Dodson and now wants Dominic Cruz
Make sure to tune in for…
  • Bisping vs Henderson
  • If Henderson wins, then what?
  • If Bisping wins, then who?  GSP?
  • And I’m not so sure I’m able to get hyped up for this main event
  • Cause really, it could go either way…
  • Vitor Belfort vs Gegard Mousasi
  • Post Enhanced drug testing Belfort has not been the same
  • This will be a big win for either fighter
  • And Ovince Saint Preux vs Jimi Manuwa
  • Saint Preux needs a win here to stay in the UFCs good graces
  • On October 8th, UFC 204, is as good of a card as you could hope for knowing everyone else is fighting at UFC 205…
  • BJ Penn vs Ricardo Lamas at UFC Fight Night 97 (and in the Philippines)
  • Ummmm… to Joe Szyc my writer… I will BARELY tune in for that one
  • Both fighters are coming off losses… so yeah, there’s THAT
  • And BJ, like of his LAST four fights, loss three of them AND ended one in a draw against  Jon Fitch YIKES
  • Derrick Lewis vs Marcin Tybura, co-main event ALSO at UFC Fight Night 97
  • at UFC Fight Night October 15th
  • Did you know that BJ Penn is 16 and 10?
  • Ricardo Lamas is 16 and 5… Interesting how great someone is know to be, when their record would suggest something different.
Identity Crisis Issues…
  • Why must their be a FEW ways to identify a UFC Fight Night
  • I mean, why can’t the Fight Nights just fall in line with a numbering system like everything else?
  • Like this one coming up…
  • Is it UFC Fight Night 97 or UFC Fight Night Philippines
  • OR UFC Fight Night: Lamas vs Penn
  • The struggle is real for me…
  • Just pick one
Don’t Miss
  • Bellator 163 Main Event
  • McGeary vs Davis
  • As far as Bellator fights go, this is a must see
  • It’s rare enough to see a Bellator title fight
  • and this particular fight has been in the making a long time
  • If McGeary is able to easily do away with Davis
  • The UFC will take notice
  • Davis wins or the fight goes out to a drawn out decision, well McGeary might end up in Bellator purgatory
  • McGregor’s trash talking should be on point for 205
UFC 205
  • Who really knows, but as it stand today, UFC 205 has the making to be what UFC 200 was supposed to be.
  • Over the last few months I’ve learned to slow my role
  • Who knows who will fail a drug test
  • Retire
  • Get stuck in an elevator
  • Or all of the other endless things that have plagued the UFC of late
What is the UFC becoming????
  • With Jose Aldo the latest fighter to ask for his release
  • Threatening retirement and legal action
  • All due to McGregor continuing to receive what some say is preferential treatment
  • AND Even though the UFC is paying the most
  • Fighters appear to be tired of the lack of honesty and transparency from Dana White and the UFC
  • As more fighters complain and more high profile fighters speak up
  • It may be time for the UFC to take action
  • Dana White has proven that he is capable of using lies to cover lies with the fans
  • So we’re not shocked that he lies to his fighters
  • BUT we are shocked that he seemingly lies to all of his fighters
  • Ouch
Upcoming Events
