Global announced today that they are returning to the United States, presenting Road to M-1: USA 2 on Thursday night, April 4, at Quechan Casino Resort, located on the California-Arizona border.
Road to M-1: USA 2 will stream live on UFC FIGHT PASS® in the inaugural event of a new agreement between M-1 Global USA and FIGHT PASS.
Many of the top American MMA prospects will step into The Rage for the first time to demonstrate their fighting skills and courage. A possible M-1 Global contract will be on the line in these fights, much like at Road to M-1: USA 1, last August in Nashville, Tennessee.
Brandon Bell and Yoislandy Izquierdo turned in impressive performances at Road to M-1: USA 1 and they were both rewarded with M-1 Global promotional contracts.
“On April 4th we are going to have not only the second Road to M-1 USA show,” M-1 Global president Vadim Finkelchtein said, “but also the third M-1 Global show in California. Eight years ago, in 2011, we held two M-1 Challenge events in California and one in Arizona. We are excited to come back to this region with another show, which will be held on the border between these two states at Quechan Casino Resort.
“All the fights we saw at the first Road to M-1: USA were very interesting, and we look forward to watching the best American prospects in The Rage.”
The main event and other fights on the Road to M-1: USA 2 card will soon be announced.
