Tito Ortiz signs with Combate Americas

Looks like the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy”, Tito Ortiz is itching to fight. Friday night at Combate Americas: Reinas, we caught what appeared to be the signing of a contract between Tito and Combate Americas CEO, Campbell McLaren.

Promotion, Combate Americas has been making noise in the sport since 2013 and has recently raised another $20 million in a Series B round of funding. This brings the total funds raised for this Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts promotion to $38 million.

With new investor and Mexican actress, Kate Del Castillo becoming a “significant shareholder” and a promotion on the rise, looks like Tito Ortiz wants in on some of the action. No word on when we will see this former UFC light heavyweight and Bellator fighter enter the cage, this will be an interesting one… stay tuned.
