A1 Combat 12: Scale Battles Concluded, Main Card Set

It’s almost fight time, and the combatants for A1 Combat 12 have faced off at the weigh-ins. Today’s weigh-ins took place today, Friday, July 21 in Sacramento California. This highly anticipated event is set to go down tomorrow night, Saturday, July 22, at Fire Mountain. You can catch all the action live at the Hard Rock Cafe Live Fire Mountain or on UFC Fight Pass.

First off, the heavyweights on the amateur card, Ignacio Ureno and Juan Delarosa, tipped the scales at 193.3 lbs and 195.8 lbs respectively. The 155 lbs bout will feature Tavious Hunter, weighing in at 158 lbs, and Derek Moon, at 157 lbs.

The 135 lbs weight class has an exciting line-up. Christian Alba, Mason Carzino-Hartshorn, Blace Protter, and Andrew Toste all made weight comfortably. However, their opponents, Gabriel Marquez, Donald Todd, Laquan Jenkins, and Nicolas Colunga respectively, had to squeeze a little extra to make the cut.

In the 165 lbs amateur bout, Dominic Hidalgo came in at 164 lbs, while his opponent Henry Ganzorig just made weight at 165 lbs.

Moving to the professionals, the 170 lbs bout will see Sczar Charles and Joseph Keith both make weight comfortably. Ian Morken and Carlos Figueroa also made the cut for the 140 lbs fight. Billy Brand and Pedro Juarez weighed in perfectly for their 135 lbs bout.

However, the 170 lbs clash between Troy Green and Ernesto Rodriguez is hanging in the balance, with both fighters just tipping over the limit.

The main event will see Taylor Mauldin and Laura Anderson square off for the 115 lbs title, both making weight at exactly 115 lbs. The co-main event features Andrew Coyne defending his 145 lbs title against Ernie Juarez, with both fighters on point at the scales.

Unfortunately, we did have two cancellations. The amateur 135 lbs fight between Ezekiel Martinez and AbduMalik Saidabulov, and the pro 115 lbs bout between Katarina Legorreta and Kathy Solorzano, were both called off due to the latter fighters missing weight.
