Fierce Fights and Dominant Victories at VFC 2 in San Diego

Valkyrie Fight Championship 2 Results and Highlights

What an exhilarating night of fights we witnessed at the Sheraton Mission Valley in San Diego, California! Valkyrie Fight Championship (VFC) 2 showcased the incredible skills and determination of youth and amateur mixed martial artists on Saturday night. Here are the results, along with some of the highlight photos from the event.

Fight Results

Youth 90 lbs: Aliyah Deckard submitted Charlize Figueroa with a triangle choke at 1:53 of round 2. Deckard showcased her grappling skills, sinking in the choke and securing the tap.

Youth 94 lbs: Divana Sandoval took home the victory against Michelle Rialmo with an Americana submission at 1:18 of round 2. Sandoval’s technique was on point, forcing Rialmo to tap out.

Youth Title 104 lbs: Leila Witzerman won a hard-fought Majority Decision against Jayden Murillo. Both fighters displayed incredible heart and skill in this back-and-forth battle.

Youth Title 110 lbs: Asia Rialmo edged out Isabella Campos in a closely contested Split Decision. Rialmo’s striking and grappling made the difference in this title fight.

Youth Title 130 lbs: Taylor Hishaw Ellis submitted Sophia Martin with a rear naked choke at 1:06 of round 2. Ellis’s grappling prowess was on full display as she secured the choke and the victory.

Amateur 160 lbs: Erin Padilla defeated Amanda Asprion via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Asprion showcased her well-rounded skillset to earn the victory on all three judges’ scorecards.

Amateur 125 lbs: Jessie Rubio submitted Alexis Perez with a rear naked choke at 1:38 of round 1. Rubio quickly took the fight to the ground and locked in the submission for an impressive win.

Amateur Title 125 lbs: Ashley Thiner stopped Yvania Foley via TKO with ground and pound at 2:37 of round 2. Thiner’s striking and top control proved to be too much for Foley to handle.

Amateur Title 155 lbs: Joy Pendell finished Laurynn Garcia with a TKO via ground and pound at 2:17 of round 2. Pendell’s relentless pressure and striking on the ground secured her the championship.
