The UFC® is coming back to San Antonio, Texas after almost four years with two electrifying 135-pound matchups. Marlon Vera, ranked 4th and on a five-win streak, will face the exciting finisher Cory Sandhagen, ranked 5th. In the co-main event, former women’s bantamweight champion and current No. 3 ranked Holly Holm will face off against No. 6 Yana Santos.

The event, UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: VERA vs. SANDHAGEN, will take place on Saturday, March 25th at the AT&T Center. The main card will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN Deportes and simulcast in English and Spanish on ESPN+. The main card starts at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. The preliminary matches will be streamed exclusively on ESPN+ at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT, before being broadcast on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT.

Tickets for UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: VERA vs. SANDHAGEN will be on sale starting Friday, Feb. 10th at 10 a.m. CT and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

Marlon Vera (20-7-1, fighting out of Chone, Manabi, Ecuador) aims to impress in his third consecutive main event with another standout performance. He boasts spectacular KO victories over Dominick Cruz, Frankie Edgar, and Sean O’Malley, and now hopes to earn a title shot by becoming the first fighter to defeat Cory Sandhagen.

Cory Sandhagen (15-4, fighting out of Aurora, Colo.), a former interim bantamweight title challenger, is well-known for his highlight-reel performances. Since joining the UFC roster in 2018, he has delivered incredible KO wins against Frankie Edgar, Marlon Moraes, and Iuri Alcantara. Sandhagen now hopes to put a stop to Vera’s momentum and secure his own shot at the belt.

Holly Holm (14-6, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.) aims to start the year with a vintage KO win. Regarded as one of the greatest women’s combat sports athletes of all time, she holds memorable victories over Ronda Rousey, Megan Anderson, and Bethe Correia. Holm now intends to defend her spot in the rankings by defeating Yana Santos.

Yana Santos (14-6 1NC, fighting out of Coconut Creek, Fla. by way of Saint Petersburg, Russia) seeks to secure the biggest win of her career. A skilled striker, she has earned notable wins against Ketlen Vieira, Marion Reneau, and Lina Lansberg. Santos now has her sights set on cracking the division’s Top 5 by finishing Holly Holm.

The UFC event in San Antonio, Texas will feature additional bouts, including a flyweight fight between Alex Perez (ranked 6th) and Manel Kape (ranked 9th), a welterweight bout between Sean Brady (ranked 8th) and Michel Pereira (ranked 14th), a featherweight fight between Alex Caceres (ranked 15th) and Nate Landwehr, a middleweight bout between Chidi Njokuani and Albert Duraev, a featherweight fight between Daniel Pineda and Tucker Lutz, a featherweight fight between Steven Peterson and Lucas Alexander, a welterweight bout between Trevin Giles and Preston Parsons, a flyweight fight between Liang Na and Brogan Walker, a flyweight fight between CJ Vergara and Daniel Da Silva, and a women’s flyweight bout between Andrea Lee (ranked 9th) and Maycee Barber (ranked 12th).
