Empire Battle for the Throne Weigh-In Results: Full 17-Fight Card Set in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Empire Championship Series made things official Friday at Picacho Peak Brewery, where 34 fighters stepped on the scale ahead of Saturday night’s Battle for the Throne at the Pan American Center. The 17-fight card features eight amateur bouts, three amateur title fights and six professional matchups, capped by AJ Hotchkins vs. Tommie Britton at light heavyweight. View Gallery New Faces Open the Card The night starts with several fighters making their first appearances in MMA Stalker coverage. Amateur flyweights Isaac Aguilar and Moses de Alejandro both make their MMA debuts after weighing 124.7 and 125.7 pounds, respectively. Nick De Santiago also debuts at flyweight against Adrian Juarez, with both fighters hitting 124.7. Juarez enters at 1-0 after earning a split-decision win over Edgar Baeza at Empire’s Warriors of the Empire event in June. At featherweight, debuting Robert Briseno meets Vuong Nguyen, with both weighing 146.0 pounds. Will Porter and Charles Johnson follow at catchweight after checking in at 128.8 and 127.0. Jesus Anchondo makes his debut against Jeremiah Sanchez at strawweight. Anchondo weighed 114.9, while Sanchez came in at 116.0. Sanchez enters at 1-2 and was last seen in MMA Stalker coverage scoring a TKO win over Huy Nguyen at RUF 65. Experience Starts to Build Ryan Garcia and Devon Arzate both bring 1-0 amateur records into their lightweight matchup. Garcia weighed 155.5 pounds and Arzate 154.7. Arzate returns after defeating Dytwan King by split decision at Empire’s Rise of the Champions in June 2025. Max Fuentes weighed 160.9 pounds for his catchweight matchup with Juwan Smith, who came in at 161.0. Fuentes enters at 2-1 after submitting Alexandro Rodriguez in June, while Smith brings a 3-6 amateur record into his first appearance in MMA Stalker coverage. John Suarez and Fernando Munoz close out the non-title portion of the amateur card. Suarez weighed 159.3 pounds and Munoz 161.0. Three Amateur Titles on the Line The stakes jump with three consecutive amateur championship fights. Kaleb Aguilar and Gabriel Enriquez both weighed 125.2 pounds for their flyweight title fight. Aguilar enters at 3-1 after submitting Angel Briseno in March, while Enriquez is unbeaten at 2-0 after defeating Daemian Jaloma by unanimous decision in June. Jaloma returns immediately after that loss for a bantamweight title opportunity against Jacob Reed. Jaloma weighed 135.9 pounds and Reed 135.1. Jaloma enters at 3-2, while Reed brings a 2-2 record. At featherweight, unbeaten Isaiah Delgado meets Eddie Gonzales. Both weighed 144.5 pounds. Delgado is 4-0 after defeating Elijah Quinn by unanimous decision in June, while Gonzales enters at 1-0 following his decision win over Cade Smith on the same card. View Gallery Pros Take Over Devon Pepin opens the professional portion of the card against veteran Giovanny Meza at featherweight. Pepin weighed 145.9 pounds and Meza 142.7. Pepin enters at 1-0 after stopping Mike Mikesell by TKO in his professional debut. Meza brings a 5-12 professional record and returns to MMA Stalker coverage for the first time since RUF MMA 28 in 2018. Ysidro Portillo Jr. and Mario Molina meet at catchweight after weighing 173.7 and 175.0 pounds. Both are appearing in MMA Stalker coverage for the first time. Javier Duchene and Marquis Johnson both hit 125.3 pounds for their professional flyweight matchup. Duchene enters at 3-3 and is coming off a knockout victory over David Miramontes at Warriors of the Empire. Middleweights Miguel Tovar and Chris Crosby both weighed 185.1 pounds. Tovar enters at 5-6-1 after defeating Orlando Sanders by unanimous decision last year, while Crosby brings a 17-10 professional record into his first MMA Stalker appearance. Christopher Tavares weighed 137.5 pounds for his catchweight matchup against Nathan Torres, who came in at 138.0. Tavares enters at 1-0 after a TKO win over Alberto Solis in June. Hotchkins and Britton Headline AJ Hotchkins and Tommie Britton both weighed 204.4 pounds for Saturday’s professional light heavyweight main event. Hotchkins moves into the professional ranks after compiling a 3-1 amateur record, while Britton brings 22 professional fights of experience with a 6-16 record. Both will make their first appearances in MMA Stalker coverage. Before the main event arrives, there is plenty to watch. Three amateur championships will be decided back-to-back, several undefeated prospects put their records on the line, and a group of debuting fighters will begin writing the first entries in their MMA careers.
